Dixon, Donald Rand (9 January 1917 - 6 January 1969)
Donald Rand Dixon,
51, of Marshfield, a former Greenwood resident, died January 6, in a Marshfield
hospital after a lingering illness. Funeral series will be held at 2 p.m. Friday
from Grace United Methodist Church, of Greenwood, with the Rev. Carl Booher
officiating. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may
call at the Hill Funeral Home beginning this (Thursday) afternoon and after 11
a.m. Friday at the church.
Mr. Dixon was born January 9, 1917, in
Granton, the son of the late Ernest and Olive (Rand) Dixon. He is survived by
his wife, the former Mae Nelson, and a son, Paul, of Marshfield.

Funeral services for Donald Rand Dixon were held Friday afternoon from Grace
United Methodist Church. The Rev. Carl Booher officiated. Burial was made in the
Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Robert Bartelt, Fred Hohl, Adolph
Wessel, Fred Shiltz, Donald Rose and Lyle Miller. Gary Schultz sang, “The Old
Rugged Cross” and “Whispering Hope,” with Mrs. Carl Booher, accompanist.
