Selma Eva (Paul) Schreiber (11 Oct 1891 - 04 May 1953)

Mrs. Richard Schreiber succumbed to a long illness Monday, and died at her home here (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI), at 11:15 that morning. She had suffered a heart ailment and high blood pressure for a number of years, which became progressively more serious as time passed in recent years. In February of this year, she entered St. Joseph's hospital, Marshfield, following a stroke, and was hospitalized there where all treatment was unavailing. She returned home about three weeks ago and had been under constant care of her family since.

Funeral services will be conducted from St. Louis Catholic church here at 9:30 a. m. Friday, 8 May 1953, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Thomas F. Hayden, pastor, officiating at the rites. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial cemetery.

Mrs. Schreiber, was born Selma Eva Paul, at Stetsonville, Oct. 11, 1891, resided in this area all her life, and was married to Richard Schreiber Sept. 11, 1918. He survives her, as do three sons, Donald, David and Alfred, and two daughters, Pearl and Bernice, all of whom, are expected here for the funeral. Fourteen grandchildren and several brothers and sisters also survive.
