(Spengler) Schafer (6 Apr 1864 - 20 Nov 1950)
Dorchester – Mrs. Emma
Schafer, resident of this community (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) for many years,
died Tuesday in a Clintonville hospital where she had been taken last week for
treatment.
Funeral services will be held at the Salem Evangelical United
Brethren Church at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. G.T. Vieth, pastor, officiating.
The Fuchsgruber Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The body will
lie in state at the funeral parlor until the time of the services.

Emma was born in Medina, Wisconsin to Herman and
Johann (Pribbenow) Spengler. She married John Schafer December 3, 1884.
Her children were: Erwin P., Walter J., Sylvia (Mrs. Ollie Garvue), Lloyd P.,
and Forest H. (married to Magdalene Bohr).
