Clara Staab (20 Jun 1873 – Jul 1944)
Funeral services will be held
Friday at 9:00 a.m. from St. Louis’ Catholic Church (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI)
for Miss Clara Staab, 71, who passed away Monday at her home in Ashland. Rev.
Father Weller will read the services and burial will be made in Memorial
Cemetery.
Clara Staab was born in Bavaria June 20, 1873 and came to the
U. S. with her parents in 1881, settling in Dorchester. The family lived in the
village for a few months, then moved to their farm west of the village.
Miss Staab moved to Ashland in 1887 and has lived there ever since.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Ed. Feeney, Maringo, Wis., and one brother, John,
Dorchester. Two brothers, Jake and Valentine, and one sister, Mrs. Theresa
Premeau, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Henry Gipp, Joe and
Frank Geiger, Frank Stoiber, (end of newspaper clipping)
