Tioga (19 Aug 1915)

C.J. Bigelow and Ern Flick worked for Gene Palms Tuesday, haying.

Losela Neimitz is helping Bill Palms in the hay field.

Mr. Oposkie bought two nice looking cows last week.

Agents of the Homemaker Land Co. are seen in this vicinity quite frequently of late.

Wm. Humbolt hauled shingles for his new house Tuesday.

W.E. Palms made a business trip to Greenwood last week.

Blackberrying will soon be the order of the day.

Farmers are busy trying to put in their hay before it spoils.

Bill Larson left Monday for the Dakota harvest fields.

E. Flick and family spent Sunday with E. Palms and wife.

Mrs. A.W. Loy was down from Greenwood for an over Sunday visit with the home folks.

Alice Phillips expects to attend school in Berlin the coming year.

Millie McMullen, who was visiting Art McCune the past week, returned home to Waterloo Monday.

Mrs. Edna Stout and babe and Beulah McCune came home from Waterloo for a visit with the home folks.

John Jacobson is cutting hay on the Marlin Bigelow farm.

Don’t forget the dance at Tioga Saturday night. A good time for all who come.

The Ladies Aid Society will meet with Mrs. Hannah Palms on Thursday, Aug. 19, instead of in September, as the time has been changed. All are cordially invited.

John Schwamb went to Greenwood Monday.

Mrs. Solic, Mr. Sanodi and Mr. Nemitz went to Neillsville Monday.

Ralph Bigelow visited Lawrence Hoganson last week.
