Painter, Clark (Train Crash
Fatality – 15 Aug 1915)
Ed. Montgomery received word Monday that his
brother-in-law, Clark Painter, was killed early Sunday morning by being run over
by a train while returning in an auto from Madison. His companion was badly
hurt, but not killed. Mr. Painter lived here some time ago and owned the North
Star Creamery, and was well known and well-liked by all. He is survived by his
wife and four children. He owned a large creamery at Waunekee. His sister, Mrs.
N.E. Crandall was visiting at his home at the time of his death.
