Mr. and Mrs. Ronald
Gluch spent the holidays in Beatrice, Nebr., with their son, Ronald, Jr., and
family.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ray and Sherri returned Tuesday from Shorewood
after spending two days visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ray.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meyer and family returned Wednesday to their home in
Ashton, Ia., after spending the Christmas vacation with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. (names were missing here).
Christmas Day guests of Mrs. Harold
Pischer were Mr. and Mrs. Berle Barkley and daughter of Milwaukee, and Mr. and
Mrs. Marvin Pischer and two children of Black River Falls.
Mrs. Leonard
Wachholz returned home Sunday from St. Paul, Minn., where she spent last week
visiting her son and family and her two daughters. Miss Elaine Wachholz and Mrs.
Bill Neuhaus brought their mother home, returning to St. Paul Sunday afternoon.
Alfred Gerber is receiving medical care in Memorial Hospital since
suffering an apparent heart attack.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Engstrum spent last
week with relatives in Eau Claire.
Dennis Carl, who spent part of the
Christmas vacation in Racine, also spent a few days with his parents Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Carl, in the town of Washburn. He left Friday to resume his studies
at an airline school in Kansas City, Mo.
Mrs. Frank Senger returned home
Thursday from Milwaukee, where she spent two weeks of the holiday season
visiting relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Ziegler visited their
son, Gary and his family in Hales Corner last weekend.
Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Ziegler of Milwaukee visited his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Alvin Ziegler, last week.
Mary Lou Olson, a student at St. Olaf’s
College in Northfield, Minn., Larry Olson, a student at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, and Augie-Jo Olson, a student at Stout State
University-Menomonie, returned to school last weekend after visiting their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Olson, during the holidays.
Ray Burr
entered Memorial Hospital Saturday and from there was taken by ambulance to the
hospital in Marshfield, where he is undergoing medical treatment and may have
surgery
