FINGER SAWED OFF.
Ezra
Bixby Comes in Contact with the Jointer.
Ezra Bixby, of 1027 First
avenue, an employee of the Pioneer Furniture company met with a painful accident
yesterday forenoon. Mr. Bixby was operating a jointer machine when his hand came
in contact with the saw and he had a finger taken off. A few months ago he lost
a finger in the same manner on the same machine.

First avenue, lost finger in a jointer at the Pioneer Furniture company's
factory on Thursday. This is the second time he has lost finger while working at
the same machine.

The funeral of the late Ezra Bixby will be
held at the First Baptist church this morning at 10 o'clock, the Rev. Hoare
officiating.
