The
Women’s Christian Temperance Union of Unity was organized Tuesday, March 25,
1884, by Mrs. Rait of Ashland.
The following offices were chosen for the
ensuing year, President, Mrs. C. Healy; 1st Vice President: Mrs. E. Creed; 2nd
Vice President: L. Hall; Secretary Belle H. Hall; Treasurer, Mrs. Geo.
Henderson; Committee for juvenile work; S. J. Drake and L. M. Williams.
Committee on literature was appointed by the secretary.
The next meeting
will be held at Mrs. S. J. Drakes at 3 p.m., April 8.
