M.F. Lawrie
((1898? - 1 Jun 1964)
M.F. Lawrie, 66, former cheese factory operator in
this community (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) and a vice-president of the
Dorchester State Bank, died Monday in Bethel Convalescent Home, Arpin.
Funeral services have been set for Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church,
Marshfield. The Rev. Douglas P. Oyan will officiate at the 1:30 p.m. rites, and
burial will be in Hillside cemetery.
The deceased will lie in state at
the Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield, this evening (Thursday) until 11:00 a.m.
Saturday, and then at the church. A Masonic memorial service will be conducted
at 8:00 p.m. Friday in the Hansen chapel.
Mr. Lawrie had suffered ill
health some time past, and had resided in the Bethel home the past year. His
death was attributed to a stroke.
Survivors include the widow; two
daughters: Mrs. Robert (Marjorie) Leich, Laona; and Mrs. Robert (Marie) Ham,
Oahu, Hawaii; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. A. W. Schief and her daughter,
Mrs. Norman Seipp of Wausau, attended the funeral.
