Fred W. Moecker (29 Jan 1901 - 12 Sep 1959)

Funeral services for former village (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) resident Fred W. Moecker, 58, were held Tuesday (15 Sep 1959) at 1:30 p. m. from the Cross Lutheran church in Milwaukee. Burial was in Wisconsin Memorial Park there.

Mr. Moecker died Saturday afternoon at the home of his sister-in-law, in Marinette where he and Mrs. Moecker were visiting. He succumbed to a heart attack. The Moeckers were on vacation and had planned to visit friends in this village Wednesday.

Fred Moecker was born Jan. 29, 1901, and came here with his, parents, Rev. and Mrs. Frederick Moecker in 1902. Rev. Moecker was pastor of St. Peter's church here for 20 years, until 1922.

Married to Lucille Lupient here in (10) September of 1925, he was employed at an Abbotsford bank for a number of years. He later went to Milwaukee on similar work and prior to his death, had been state banking credit manager for several years.

Surviving are his widow, a son, three grandchildren, four sisters and a brother.
