Helen M.
Lorenz, 92, Medford, died on Saturday, May 19 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab
Center in Medford, where she had resided the past seven weeks, surrounded by her
family.
A memorial service, and cremainal interment at Holy Rosary
Catholic Cemetery in Medford, will be held at a later date.

Home of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
The
former Helen Mewhorter was born on May 30, 1919 in the Town of Hartland, Pierce
County, to the late Ernest and Helga A. (Erickson) Mewhorter. She attended
Forest Home School. She worked at City Hospital in Red Wing as a licensed
practical nurse.
On April 9, 1949 in Red Wing, Minn., she married John F.
Lorenz, who preceded her in death on May 28, 1972. They moved to Medford where
she was a homemaker and mother.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic
Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, baking, canning,
gardening, and most of all being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include four children, Jean Neumueller and Patricia "Patti"
(Dennis) Christianson, both of Medford, and Michael "Mike" of Las Vegas, Nev.;
four grandchildren, Reece (Heidi) Neumueller of St. Paul, Minn., Hailey
Neumueller of Chilton, Mickey Christianson of Medford and Andrea (Jack) Buksa of
Rib Lake; two great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandson.
In
addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven
siblings, Myron in infancy, Alfred, Martina Bjork, Edward, Jessie Lind and
Walter.
