Joseph B. Harris (19 March 1883 - 1951)
Joseph B. Harris, 68, died at his
home in the town of Hoard Sunday, and funeral services were held from a Medford
funeral home Wednesday at 2:30 p. m., with burial in Evergreen cemetery there.
The Rev. W. Gereau officiated the rites, and pallbearers were nephews of the
deceased, Lynwood Harris, John Harris, Albert Casey, Frederick Piehl, Edwin
Piehl, and Martin Piehl.
Mr. Harris was born in Medford March 19, 1883,
and had resided there and in this community all his life. He never married, and
was a brother of the late Fred Harris of this community (Dorchester, Clark Co.,
WI). Survivors include a brother and four sisters: Irvin Harris, Curtiss; Mrs.
Ada Peihl, Medford; Mrs. Carrie Casey, Eau Claire; Mrs. Mamie Zimmerman, Kansas
City, Mo., and Mrs. Lenora Jenkins, Cheyenne, Wyo.
