James M. Schreiner
Sr., 68, Medford, died on Tuesday, May 8 at his daughter's home. No services
will be held.
James Schreiner was born on March 19, 1944 in Medford, to
the late Clarence and Florence (Turba) Schreiner. He attended Rib River
Elementary School and was a graduate of Rib Lake High School.
On July 4,
1964 in Bessemer, Mich., he married Nancy Peterson. They divorced in 2008. They
resided in Waukesha then moved to the Rib Lake area and he worked at Weather
Shield in Medford until retirement in 2007.
He was a member of the North
American Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors
include a daughter, Jane (Rod) Hempel of Medford; a son, James Jr. (Sarah) of
Rib Lake; four siblings, Kathleen ("Red") Silvey of Virginia, Gerald (Barbara)
of Medford, Jeffrey (Geralyn) of Rib Lake and Joyce Voss of Colorado; eight
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Ann Schreiner-Viken in 2008, and a
sister, JoAnn Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be
given to the family for future designation.
