Zenker, LeRoy J. (2 OCT 1951 - 28 APR 2012)

Former Stetsonville area resident Brian L. Thompson, 60, Danville, Ill., died on Saturday, April 28 at his home.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 4 at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville, with Rev. James Babler officiating. Cremainal inurnment will take place at the Abbotsford Public Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH:
October 2, 1951 in Ladysmith

EDUCATION:
1969 Graduate of Medford High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from UW Stevens Point

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:
Brian was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Gilman where they lived until moving to Stetsonville in 1960. Brian worked as a Loan Officer for various financial institutions in Illinois for a number of years. He was currently working as an Independent Mortgage Broker at the time of his death. He was an avid reader, especially of history books, a loyal Packer and Badger fan. He also enjoyed sports and traveling with his family.
