Lautenbach, Amanda (16 February 1901 - 1 February 1969)
Funeral services
were held Tuesday for Mrs. Amanda Lautenbach, 67, of Rt. 1 Granton, who died
Saturday in Neillsville. The Rev. Evan Dieck officiated at services from the
Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant. Burial was made in the
parish cemetery.
Mrs. Lautenbach, the former Amanda Gerzmehle, was born
February 16, 1901, in the Town of Grant. She attended schools there and the
Mapleworks Lutheran School. She was married October 6, 1920, in Alma Center to
Edward Lautenbach. They farmed in the Town of Grant.
Mrs. Lautenbach is
survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Geneva) Schultz of Milwaukee; a
son, Norman, of New Berlin; and by four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were:
Oscar Krause, Arno Winter, Emil Schlinsog, Ray Kurth, Martin A. Krause and Louis
Breseman.
