Fravert, Albert Ferdinand (14 July 1892 - 2
February 1969)
Albert Ferdinand Fravert, 76, Greenwood Rt. 2, died at his
home Sunday of an apparent heart attack. He had been in poor health for several
years.
Mr. Fravert, the son of Henry and Margaret (Vollrath) Fravert, was
born July 14, 1892, in the Town of Warner. He attended the Town of Warner
School. He was married September 22, 1915, to Ella Kuester at the home of her
parents. They farmed seven miles northwest of Greenwood until 1954, when they
moved to the city of Greenwood. The farm was taken over by their son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Toburen. Since 1963 he had resided at the Toburen
home. His wife died May 24, 1958.
Mr. Fravert was a member of Immanuel
United Church and of its consistory, and also was a member of the town board of
Warner for a number of years.
Surviving him are a daughter, Mrs. Ervin
(Laverne) Toburen of Greenwood; a grandson, Delmain Toburen of Greenwood; and
three great-grandsons.
Funeral services were to be held Wednesday from
the Immanuel United Church. The Rev. David Logue was to officiate, with burial
to be made in the West Side Cemetery.
