Greenwood (6 February 1969)

Mrs. Henry Keiner left Tuesday for Los Angeles, Calif., to spend some time with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Nachtwey.

Richard Larson returned Tuesday after spending several days at an automotive parts meeting held in Bloomington, Minn.

The Senior Citizens held their postponed meeting Thursday evening in the Clark Electric auditorium. Mrs. Rose Ludwig was appointed to act as treasurer of the group. Mrs. Francis Brey, chairman, introduced the speaker, John Ringstad of Neillsville, who spoke on, “Low cost housing” and the “Wisconsin Homestead Relief to the Elderly Act.” Following the meeting games were played and prizes were awarded. A lunch was served by the West Side Homemaker s club.
