Pleasant Ridge (13 February 1969)

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Drescher entertained the Couple’s club Saturday evening.

Judy Howard of Moose Lake, Minn., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Verne G. Howard, left Tuesday to join two friends in Laurel, Miss. From there the girls planned to go to New Orleans, La., to spend 10 days at the Mardi Gras.

Verne G. Howard returned home Monday from Madison, where he attended a meeting.

The Pleasant Ridge Homemaker club met Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Calvin Gerhardt. This meeting had been postponed two times previously because of storms.

Mrs. Nellie Yankee and her daughter, Mrs. William Novatny and daughter, Julene, of Oshkosh, were supper guests of Mrs. Genevieve Hantke and daughter Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Short called Monday evening at the Harold Gaier home.
