Klosowski, Walter (21 AUG 1884 - 23 FEB
1965)
Walter Klosowski, Sr., 80, of Walsenburg, died early Tuesday
morning at his home.
Born on Aug. 21, 1884 in Poland, he came to America
in 1907. Klosowski was a retired engineer and farmer from Wisconsin, having
moved to Colorado in 1961 to be close to his daughter, Mrs. Dan Lencz of
Walsenburg.
Surviving him are his widow Julia, of the home; daughters,
Mrs. Dan Lencz, Mrs. Lillian Bjornestad of Walworth, Wis.; Mrs. Eleanora Nowak
of Withee, Wis.; Mrs. Ninatte Galarowicz of Lublin, Wis.; Mrs. Jeanette Kreager,
Chicago, Ill.; a son, Walter Klosowski Jr. of Dorchester, Wis., and a brother,
Alexander Klosowski of Millbrook, Ala.
Funeral services were held at 2
p.m. at the Chapel of Furphy Mortuary. The Rev. John Nickens of the United
Church of Walsenburg officiated. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery in
Walsenburg.
