A New Town
W. B.
Agnew has been up the line this week, laying out a new town at Section 83, which
has been christened Westboro.
It is on the south branch of Jump River,
and as there is a large tract of pine tributary to it, a bright future is
anticipated for the young bantling.
It is here that Duncan, Richie & Co.
are putting up a large saw mill and shingle mill.
Preparations for the
erection of several houses are already being made, including a hotel, which will
be put up by W. F. Turner, now proprietor of the Turner House at end of track.
