Medford Man Killed In Fall From Hay
Medford, Wis. - John Gerlinger, 58,
an employee of the Medford Lumber Co., was killed by falling from a load of hay
which he was unloading from a flat car.
In falling, he struck his head
on the ice and when picked up was unconscious.
Men from camp secured a
team and brought him to town but he was dead before they could reach the
hospital.
The body was taken to Tomah, Wis., Tuesday for burial.
