Vanderloop, Mary (1872 – 21 APR 1964)

MRS. MARY VANDERLOOP PASSED AWAY APRIL 21

Mrs. Mary Vanderloop was born on September 8, 1872, the daughter of Henry and Catherine Huls in Hollandtown, Wisconsin.  She was married on October 4, 1892, at St. Francis Church in Hollandtowns and lived there until April 1898, when they moved to a farm in the town of Worden where she since resided.  She was a member of St. Ann’s Church and of St. Ann’s Christian Mother’s Society.  She died April 21, 1964.

 

Mr. Henry Vanderloop preceded her in death March 18, 1939; three children died in infancy and a son, Raymond, was killed in action in Italy during World War II.  The following daughters preceded her in death:  Mrs. Peter (Cora) Henke in 957, Mrs. Henry (Elizabeth) Hoks in 1952, Mrs. John (Minnie) Capaul in 1963, Mrs. Herbert (Henrietta) Bosseler in 1961.

She is survived by the following children:  Sylvester of Stanley, Wiefred of Fredonia, Mrs. Ray (Mathilda) Brown of Cedarburg, Mrs. Arthur (Agnes) Jacques and Mrs. Henry (Rose) Frese of Thorp and by one sister, Hattie Haas of Stanley.  She also leaves to mourn 37 grandchildren; 66 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

The pallbearers were six grandsons, Donald Henke of Stanley, Bernard Haks of Menasha, Raymond Capaul of Cornell, Lyle brown of Cedarburg, Donald Jacques of Milwaukee, and Kehlor Bosseler of West Bend.

Relatives from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vanderloop of Appleton, Mrs. Mary Evers of Little Chute, Mr. and Mrs. John Genits and Mr. and Mrs. George Bruecher and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Vanderloop of Kaukauna, Mr. Henry Vanderloop of Seymour, Mr. Henry Hoks, Harold Hoks, Earl Hoks, Alta Siur of Menasha, Bernard Hoks of Neenah, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Haas of Thorp, Judy and Mr. and Mrs. La Verne Roth of Cadott, Mr. and Mrs. Colin Haagenson and family of Minneapolis, Mr. and Mrs. La Verne Capaul of Dubuque, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Capaul, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Capaul of Cornell, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hrdlicka of Jim falls, Mr. Wilfred Vanderloop and Donna Mae of Fredonia, Mrs. Ray Brown and Lyle of Cedarburg, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Bosseler of Port Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Kehlor Bosseler of West Bend, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jacque of Milwaukee and Thomas Jacque of Eau Claire, Mrs. Kate Van Loo and Mrs. Janet Bogumill of Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jacque and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Frese and family of Thorp.
