Reichel, Cindy (Marriage - 22 February 1969)
In a double
ring ceremony Saturday in the Mount Carmel Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, Miss
Cindy Reichel became the bride of Orrin Benduhn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Manfred
Benduhn of Milwaukee. The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. John G. Reichel, also
of Milwaukee. The groom is a grandson of Mrs. Marie Keller of Neillsville. The
Rev. E. L. Ellingson performed the ceremony in a 6:30 p.m. candlelight service.
Two hundred guests witnessed as the bride was given in marriage by her father.
Her floor-length A-line gown of white velvet was enhanced with Bishop
Sleeves, edged with lace. Lace also was featured down the front of the gown. Her
detachable train had its borders edged in lace. A velvet headpiece held her
illusion veil. She carried a heart shaped bouquet of red roses and white
carnations.
The matron of honor, Jeanette Fischer, and the bridesmaids,
Joyce Fischer and Kris Olson, wore red velvet gowns trimmed with white maribu
fur. Each carried a white maribu fur muff.
The groom’s attendants were
Clarence Savafil, Jr., as bestman. Craig Pelnar, Tony Pipeto and Bob Brem were
his groomsmen. Ushers were Wallace Fischer and Kenneth Savafil.
Curtis
Reynolds and Jackie Fischer were the ringbearer and flowergirl.
On their
return from a wedding trip to New York, Mr. and Mrs. Benduhn will reside at 6945
N. Teutonia Ave., in Milwaukee.
The bride is a graduate of the John
Marshal Senior high School in Milwaukee and the City College of Cosmetology. Mr.
Benduhn, a graduate of the Wisconsin Lutheran high School and Man Power
Computers, is a member of Tau Delta Pi.
Mrs. Marie Keller, Mrs. Harold
Potter and Tommy, and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Ott and Harley, attended the wedding
Saturday in Milwaukee of Mrs. Keller’s grandson, Orrin Benduhn, to Cindy
Reichel. Mrs. Keller went to Milwaukee last week Tuesday to assist in the
Benduhn home. The family group returned home Sunday
