Guest from Thursday to Monday
of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz were Mr. and Mrs. William Tullis of Waukesha, who
also visited area relatives and friends. Dinner guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs.
Scholtz were Mr. and Mrs. William Hill, and his father, Bob Hill, of Elroy.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz visited at the Bill Hill home in Elroy last week
Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Wavrunek and daughter, Kathy, accompanied
by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Haut, spent the weekend visiting the Wavrunek’s daughter,
Mrs. Norbert Speier and family in Ripon.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Person of
Redwood Falls, Minn., were business callers in Neillsville Monday. Mr. Person
continued on to the northern part of the county on business, and Mrs. Person was
a dinner guest of Mrs. Lowell D. Schoengarth.
Tom Meier of Marinette
spent the weekend visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Meier, and his
grandmother, Mrs. Georgine Holte.
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Hantke spent the
weekend visiting their son, Douglas, and family in Germantown. They were
accompanied by Mrs. Elsie Scherer, who visited her son, Charles, and family, in
Germantown, and her daughter, Mrs. Jerry Malone, and family in Milwaukee.
Mrs. Georgine Holte was hostess to her bridge club Saturday afternoon in
honor of her birthday. Honors went to Mrs. Eva King, Josie Bass, and Mrs. Neva
Yorkston.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kutsche and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Subke, Sr.,
visited Mr. and Mrs. Albert Meske in Marshfield Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Subke, Sr., were hosts to their 500 card club Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim West, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Subke, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Ray
Kutsche spent Saturday evening in Black River Falls visiting Mr. and Mrs.
Franklin Reindel.
Joan Subke of Footville spent the weekend visiting her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Subke, in the Town of Levis.
