Columbia (27 February 1969)
The broad snow-filled fields of the William and Georgeana Schulz farm
provided sport for a group of snowmobilers from the Neillsville area Sunday
afternoon. With five machines, three furnished by the Vornholts, one by the
Hraskys and one by the Kalsows, there was plenty of riding for everyone.
Enjoying the fun were Mr. and Mrs. Mark Vornholt, their son, Fred and three
children, Mr. and Mrs. William Hrasky, Franklin and Carol, Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Kalsow and three children and Georgeana and William Schulz. After a 5 o’clock
lunch at the Schulz home the group continued the riding into the early evening.
Harvey Sherman of Merrillan and Mrs. Bertha Poertner of Pine Valley visited
Mrs. John Sollberger Saturday evening.
Edwin Sischo, who is employed in
Milwaukee, visited his father, Leo Sischo, over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. George
Mashin and Tarra visited the Sischos Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. George
Mashin and Tarra, and Mrs. Robert Mashin and children of York helped Mrs. Orin
Eastman celebrate her birthday Friday evening at the Eastman home in
Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Wally Clodfelter and her sister, Grace Dahlke,
all of Cambria, were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin.
Mr. and
Mrs. Clifford Winter of Pine Valley visited Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Bohnhoff
Saturday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. William Sollberger visited Mrs. Edward
Urban last week Monday afternoon.
