Mr. and Mrs. Lucien
Moh and family, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Werner Doehr, made a business trip
to Eau Claire Saturday. Mrs. Moh treated her family and her patents to a
birthday dinner.
Mrs. Leona Treu left Monday for her home in Appleton
after spending a week with her sisters, Anita Landgraf and Rosetta Meyer.
Margo Ganther of Madison visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ganther,
Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Garbisch and family spent the weekend in St.
Paul, Minn., visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Kirk. Also in the Kirk
home were Mrs. Garbisch’s brothers and families, who helped their parents
celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.
Dinner guests Sunday of Mr.
and Mrs. Arnold Garbisch in honor of Mrs. Garbisch’s birthday were Mr. and Mrs.
Leland Garbisch and family, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Opelt and family and Mr. and
Mrs. Max Opelt.
Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne Vanderwyst and Sylvia Nanphe visited
Saturday evening at the Norman Barten home.
Ruby Anthony, Edna Janke and
Dana Johnson called Monday evening at the home of Verla Hales.
Mrs. Van
Kayser, Mrs. Douglas Crandall, Mrs. William Schmidtke, Ruby Anthony, Verla Hales
and Ruth Pietenpol attended a meeting Thursday evening in the United Methodist
Church in Neillsville.
Mrs. Verla Hales attended a community club meeting
Thursday at the Milford Rowe home in the Town of York.
Mr. and Mrs. Eldon
Schmidtke of Milwaukee, formerly of Granton, spent the weekend visiting his
father, Paul Schmidtke, in Loyal, and his mother, who is a patient in the
Marshfield hospital.
A surprise birthday party was held Sunday at the
home of Mrs. Bert Hayden honoring Mrs. Dana Johnson. Guests included Mr. and
Mrs. Dan Fredrick and family of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ploog, Mrs. Mabel
Woolstum, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Davis and Mrs. Belle Johnson, all of Marshfield; Mr.
and Mrs. Ross Gardner of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Graves of Neillsville;
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Steinich of Menomonee Falls, who had been visiting her mother,
Mrs. Hayden; and several neighbors of Mrs. Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton
Johnson and Mrs. Lester Sletten of Eau Claire visited Sunday afternoon at the
Ollie Poler home. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ottow of Neillsville also called there
later in the afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. David Thur and family have returned
to Racine after visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Thur, in the Town of
York.
