Horn, Esther Anna (6 June 1917 -
1 March 1969)
Mrs. Harold Horn, 51, of Greenwood, died Saturday in
Neillsville after a lingering illness of the last year.
Mrs. Horn, the
former Esther Anna Tesmer, daughter of William and Hattie (Singstock) Tesmer,
was born June 6, 1917, in the town of Colby. She was married July 24, 1941, to
Harold Horn at the Green Grove Lutheran Church in Colby. They farmed two and
one-half miles north of Greenwood until eight years ago, when they moved to the
city of Greenwood, where they operated Horn’s Drive In. Mrs. Horn was a member
of the Zion United Church of Christ and the Salem Aid.
She is survived by
her husband; a daughter, Miss Eunice Horn of Milwaukee, a son, James, at home; a
brother, Bernard Tesmer of Colby; three sisters, Mrs. Theodore (Loella) Frome of
Colby, Mrs. Carl (Lenora) Pascke of Winneconne and Mrs. Louise Thieme of
Marshfield.
Funeral services were to be held Wednesday from the Zion
United Church.
