Miller, Cora (04 May 1876-11 Feb 1964)

Mrs. Cora Miles, 87, of Corning, California passed away Tuesday, February 11, of old age complications at Red Bluff, California.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 16, at 2 p.m. from the Myre Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Doering officiating. Burial will be in the Loyal Cemetery. The body will arrive early Sunday morning and will lie in state till the time of services.

Mrs. Miles was born May 4, 1876 in Walworth county, Wisconsin. She was the former Cora Blanchard. On July 16, 1899 she was united in marriage to Henry W. Miles at Walworth county, shortly after their marriage they moved to Loyal Rt. 2 and farmed. In 1950 she moved to Corning, California.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Emily Irvin, Corning, California; Mrs. Theron Looker, Tracy, California; Mrs. Katie Cook, Loyal, and Mrs. Helen Lauda, Oakland, California; Seven grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in 1914 and also one sister Mrs. Lottie Colby.
