Dona Mae, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Krause and Roger,
the son of Walter Nicks Sr., were united in marriage at a 1:30 p.m. ceremony at
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Curtiss on Saturday, June 27.
The Rev. R.
Tellock officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Ed Krause.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nicks, Jr. were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Sandra
Burtard, Janice and Jean Krause. Miniature bride was Elaine Krause and the ring
bearer was Bradley Nicks. The groomsmen were Gerald Fischer, Walter Krause,
Larry Krause and Karl Telin.
Following the ceremony a reception was held
at the bride’s home. A dinner was served at the church parish hall to about 250
guests at 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon. A dance was held that evening at the
American Legion hall in Owen.
The couple will make their home at the
trailer court in Owen. Both the bride and groom are 1964 graduates of Dor-Abby
High School.
Out of town guests came from Chelsea, Stetsonville,
Abbotsford, Colby, Dorchester, Medford, Westboro, Marshfield, Greenwood, Owen,
Menasha, Markesan and Curtiss.
