MRS. CIESLIK SUCCUMBS TO LINGERING ILLNESS
A
valiant fight against cancer that has extended over a period of two years came
to an end at 3:00 a.m. Wednesday morning when Mrs. Frank Cieslik passed away at
St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield.
Father H. L. Crubel will officiate
at the requiem mass to be said Saturday morning at 9:30 at the Holy Rosary
Catholic Church, Owen.
Mrs. Cieslik, 48, was born March 29, 1916, in
Owen. She attended the Owen School System being graduated with the class of
1934. For several years she served as a telephone operator with Commonwealth
Telephone Company. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Altar Society and the
Royal Neighbors Lodge serving as its recorder for many years.
On August
25, 1936, she was united in marriage to Frank Cieslik of Withee. The couple have
two children, a son, Richard, and a daughter Patty, who mourn the loss of their
mother with their father. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Malen
(Josephine) Malinowski, Thorp, and Mrs. Frank (Stella) Heimerl, Eau Claire.
