Hans Sorenson (1872? - 6 Mar 1954)

Funeral services for Hans Sorenson were held Wednesday at Mt, Morris, Mich., where he had resided for many years. Mr. Sorenson, who was 82, some time ago suffered a stroke from which he never completely recovered, and death came Saturday, March 6. Attending the funeral rites from here were Mrs. Sarah Kronschnabl, a sister-in-law, and her children, Rose, Milton, Jerome, and Mrs. Carl Mertens.

Mr. Sorenson, who immigrated to this country from Europe, was in the meat business with his brother, Andrew, here (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) for some time about 50 years ago, and later worked at his trade of carpenter. He built the present Richard Schreiber home, where he resided before moving to Mt. Morris about 30 years ago. He was employed at General Motors Buick plant in Flint, Mich.

Surviving are his widow, the former Mary Fritsch, and nine children.

Mary (Fritsch) Sorenson, the wife of Hans Sorenson, was a sister of Sarah (Fritsch) Kronschnabl. They were both daughters of Anton and Anna (Marquardt) Fritsch.
