Yellow and white
daisies and chrysanthemums decorated St. Hedwig's Church, Thorp, for the
marriage of Miss Barbara Ann Pabich and William Thomas Bodner. Father Ed
Masalewicz performed the ten a.m. ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 23rd, 1965. Sisters
of St. Hedwig's played and Mary Rosemeyer sang, "Ave Maria" and "On This Day Oh
Beautiful Mother." The school children also sang.
Parents of the couple
are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pabich, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs.
William Bodner, Dayton, Ohio.
The bride, given in marriage by her father,
wore a floor length white satin sheath styled with sash and large white flower
in back, from which a long flowing train fell. The scoop neckline bodice was all
trimmed with tiny crystal and pearl beads. Her shoulder length veil was held by
a small crown of tiny crystals and pearl beads and she carried orchids.
Mary Beth Brodish was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Judy Gulcynski and
Miss Rita McGrath. They wore gold on green brocaded sheath dresses with train
from neckline to floor. Gold...(the rest of my articles was missing)
