Mae Babler is out again after a serious attack of the whooping cough. The other whooping cough patients are reported to be convalescing.

A.B. Franklin expects to leave today for Rice Lake to make his home with a daughter there.

Arthur Dudley has been appointed postmaster at Neillsville and will take the office May 1st.

The pile driver broke the telephone wires across the tracks while going through town Thursday. All communication south was cut off until the damage could be repaired.
