The Fairview cheese factory took in milk last Monday, opening the season’s run.

Norman Hart has started his meat wagon on its country trips for the summer season. A. Rosalack is in charge.

Game warden Geo Redmond was in town Thursday. He was accompanied by his brother, Greenleaf L. Redmond, of the town of York. The latter is seeking the nomination for sheriff and was making the acquaintance of a few voters in this part of the country.

Word was received by relatives here Wednesday morning, from Rice Lake, that Mr. Franklin had died Tuesday night. Mr Franklin had been ill all winter and last Friday was taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Shaver, in Rice Lake, for care. He was unable to sit up at the time and had to be carried to the train on a cot. The body will be brought here for burial and services held this Friday afternoon at the F.M. church. The internment will be in the town cemetery, beside the remains of his wife, who died but a short time ago.
