Garbush, Albert Rudolph (20
October 1881 - April 1969)
Funeral services were held Monday for Albert
Rudolph Garbush 87, from the Chapel of the Milwaukee Protestant Home for the
Aged, with entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
Mr. Garbush
was born in the Town of Lynn October 20, 1881, where he grew to manhood and then
went to the Dakotas and Montana. On June 16, 1915 he was married to Clara Olga
Retzlaff in Neillsville. They farmed in the Loyal area until the early 1940’s,
when he moved to Milwaukee. His first wife died in Loyal, August 4, 1947.
On September 10, 1953, he was married to Mrs. Elizabeth (Wiedfeldt) Messer
in Milwaukee. She died January 4, 1956. Mr. Garbush lived in Milwaukee until his
marriage to Mrs. Olga (Neufeldt) Kirsch at Big Bend on December 11, 1958. They
moved to St. Petersburg, Fla. She preceded him in death on October 4, 1963.
About four years ago he returned to Milwaukee. In October, 1967, he became a
resident of the home where he died.
He is survived by a son, Harlow,
Baton Rouge, La.; a daughter, Miss Florence Garbush, Loyal; three grandchildren
in Louisiana; a brother, Edward, in Oregon; and a sister, Mrs. Henry Jensen of
Granton.
