Stanley, Bruce (Broken Leg - 4 April 1969)
Bruce Stanley, 12 year old son
of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Stanley of rural Granton, was taken by ambulance to the
Marshfield hospital last Friday following a hay mow accident. He suffered a
fractured bone in the right leg, between the knee and hip.
The injury
occurred when Bruce was helping throw down bale of hay. Some of the bales
started to slide and pinned him down.
Bruce, a sixth grade student in
the Granton School system, is expected to be in traction for several weeks. His
room number at the hospital is 419.
