Klein, Anna
(11 November 1883 - 11 April 1969)
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Klein,
85, of Neillsville, who died Friday, April 11, at the Memorial Home, were
conducted Tuesday at 9 a.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev.
George M. Nelson officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
A general rosary was held Monday evening.
Mrs. Klein, the former Anna
Misik, was born November 11, 1883, in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Jan Misik. She came to the United States at the age of 20 and worked in
Chicago, Ill. She married Joseph Klein in that city in 1905, and in the year
1915, they came to Wisconsin, where they farmed. In 1948, they retired and moved
into the city of Neillsville. Her husband died in 1963, and about three years
ago she went to live at the Memorial Home.
Mrs. Klein is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Oscar (Anna) Behm and Mrs. Bessie Spangler, both of Neillsville;
three sons, Joe and Charles, both of Elgin, Ill., and Gerald of Owen; 16
grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Ken Klein,
Richard Morehouse, Chester Johnson, Verlan Spangler, George Klein and James
Spangler, all grandsons of Mrs. Klein.

included: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Klein, Joe Klein, and Mrs. Ann Klein, all of
Elgin, Ill., Ken Klein of Marengo, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. George Klein of
Schaumburg, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Morehouse of La Crosse; Mr. and Mrs.
Verlan Spangler of Rudolph; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Arbelovsky, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs.
Tony Vobora, all of Granton.
