Riley, Iva Jean
(17 MAY 1896 – 07 FEB 1965)
Joint funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 9, at the Loyal
Methodist Church for the Rev. Arthur Riley Sr., who died Friday, February 5, and
for his wife who died on Sunday, February 7.
The Rev. Paul Doering, Loyal, and the Rev. Herbert Thompson, LaCrosse officiated
and burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
Pallbearers for the Rev. Riley were Arthur C. Riley Jr., Donald Riley, Rodney
Fuller, Fred Zaderaka, Frey Rayburn and Richard Bierly.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Riley were Daniel Rayburn, Norman Prior, Calvin Prior,
Robert Prior, Walter Osterman and B.W. Mabbott.
The congregation, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Byron Zepplin, sang “Love
Divine All Love Excelling” and “A Charge to Keep I Have.”
Attending the services were relatives and friends from Unity, Greenwood,
Christie; Rockford, Livingston, Peoria, Illinois; Wausau, Eau Claire, Wisconsin
Rapids, Colby, Marshfield and Spencer.
