Hodnett, Lynn (19 NOV 1890 - 4 MAR 1965)
Lynn Hodnett, 74, of R.R. 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away Thursday,
March 4th, 1965 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley, of a heart condition.
Mr. Hodnett, the son of the late Henry and Amanda (Deering) Hodnett, was
born Nov. 19, 1890, in the town of Longwood, Clark Co., Wis. He was a farmer in
that township all of his life until 1954 when he retired. On Oct. 10, 1916 he
was married to Esther Wolters, who preceded him in death April 8, 1936.
Funeral servcies were held on Saturday, March 6th at the Hoeper and Kraut
Funeral Home, Owen. Rev. Robert Goessling officiated at the two p.m. servcie and
burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Bernard Poppe,
Chris Bakke, John Lobacz, Leo Stewart, Hubert Kuehn and Arnold Auger.
Surviving are two sons, Henry of Spring Grove, Ill., Harold of Withee, four
daughters, Mildred, Mrs. Armas Toya of Eau Claire, Fern Wiernasz and (Pearl)
Mrs. George Spaeth, both of Stanley, (Marlene) Mrs. Fred Biddle of Milwaukee;
two brothers, Aaron and Earl Hodnett, both of Withee, and 29 grandchildren.
