Funeral services for Joseph Czech, 74, of Lublin, who died in his home
Thursday, March 11, 1965, were held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin.
The Rev. Father Edward Cyz served the requiem mass. Mr. Czech was buried March
15 in the St. Stanislaus Parish Cemetery.
Mr. Czech was born in Poland on
Nov. 18, 1890. He came to America with his wife, the former Harriet Rosznowicz,
in 1910; and settled down in Lublin. Joseph resided in Lublin as a farmer for
over forty years. He was a member of the Polish National Alliance.
Joseph
Czech was preceded in death by his brother Pete, and is survived by his wife,
four sons, Edward, Steve and Alex of Chicago, and Albin of Lublin, two sisters,
Mrs. Pauline Zajackowski and Mrs. Antonette Prokopiak of Thorp, two brothers,
John of Hannibal and Roman of Thorp, an uncle, Alexander, 94, of Stanley, a
cousin Joseph of Thorp, three grandchildren, Jerome, Sandra and Ramona (Mrs.
Lorenz), and three great-grandchildren, Cathy, Karen and Robert Jr. Lorenz.
His pallbearers were: Stanley Wojcik, Theodore Czech, Adolph Czech, Chester
Zajack, John Bando and Bernard Prokopiak.
