Funeral services were held last Sunday afternoon, March 14th at the Nazareth Lutheran Church at Withee for Mrs. Anna Kuehl, 84, who died of a heart ailment March 11th, 1965 at the Woodland Hotel at Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), where she had been a resident for the past two years. Rev. Beryl Knudsen officiated at the services and burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery near the Black River.

Mrs. Kuehl's husband, Charles Kuehl, who was a former resident of Thorp in early days, preceded her in death in 1954. They operated a general store at Withee from 1904 until their retirement in 1950.

Her only survivor is her son Charles Kuehl of Madison.
