Greenwood (24 April 1969)

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Speich and family returned to Rockford, Ill., Sunday after spending several days with their parents, Mrs. Jake Speich and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kind, Sr.

Dr. and Mrs. Gary Rohde and sons, Dean and Douglas, of River Falls spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart and Mrs. and Mrs. Gilbert Rohde.

Edward Gauthier of Gilman was a weekend guest at the home of Mrs. Alice Speich.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cox have returned after a visit with relatives in Chicago, accompanied by their grandson, John Cox, who will visit his grandparents.

Miss Judith Brux returned to Stevens Point after visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux, over the weekend.

Miss Rosemary Hare of Minneapolis spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merril Hare.

Donald Gudmanson and children, Kayla, Mary, Donald and Susan of Beaver Dam visited Saturday at the home of their grandmother, Mrs. Christ Keiner, and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Speich of Eau Claire spent Sunday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Jake Speich.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Stewart and family were guests Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart.

The Woman’s Society of Christian Service met Friday afternoon in Grace United Methodist Church. Officers elected for the remainder of the year are: Mrs. Elery Moberg, president; Mrs. Robert Clintsman, vice president; Mrs. Glen Drew, secretary; Mrs. Walter Swieso, treasurer; and Mrs. Leon Kuester, sunshine chairman. Mrs. Clintsman presented the program on one of the letters of Paul to the Ephesians. The group discussed having only one meeting a month. A lunch was served by Mrs. Glen Drew and Mrs. Charles Hare. The next meeting will be held May 21.
