Willard (1 May 1969)
Mr. and Mrs. John Volovsek and
family of Superior spent several days at the William Volovsek home. His mother,
Mrs. Anna Volovsek, who was visiting there, returned home with them.
Recent guests at the Frank Volovsek home were Miss Barbara Volovsek of Milwaukee
and Mr. and Mrs. Anton Jeras and daughters Jean and Joan, of Brookfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Halbrader were guests Saturday night of Mr. and Mrs. James
Baltus in Wisconsin Rapids, where their seven-year-old son was celebrating his
birthday. Mrs. Halbrader made and decorated the birthday cake.
Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Ulesich spent the weekend in Chicago, Ill., with relatives and
attended the first communion of their granddaughter, Wendy Ulesich, on Sunday.
Miss Linda Meinholdt of Marshfield spent the weekend with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Edward Meinholdt.
Steve Hemersbach of Chicago, Ill., spent the
weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfonz Hemersbach and family.
EM2/c and Mrs. Carlyle Stanley and daughter, Donna , of Garden City, Calif.,
were guests last Thursday at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Suda and Pam, and
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lunka. They are in transit to Norfolk, VA., where he will
report for shore duty with the navy. He has been stationed the last 14 years in
Long Beach, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hendrikson of Aurora, Ill., spent
the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock.
Mrs. Louis Champa I has
returned after visiting relatives in Racine and Chicago.
Tony Fortuna was
admitted to a Marshfield Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Lesar and
children of Eau Claire were guests Sunday of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John
Lesar. Guests Sunday night were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zorman and Ann Marie.
Guests Sunday of the Alex Levinski and Claude Richardson families in La
Crosse were Mr. and Mrs. Anton Gosar and children.
