Mrs. Campbell Passes Away

Funeral services will be held by the Jehova Witnesses on Thursday afternoon at the Swarthout Funeral Home at 2 o’clock for Mrs. Fred Campbell 55, of Spencer route 1, who passed away at her home in the Town of Brighton at 1 o’clock Tuesday morning. Death was caused by cancer.

The body is lying in state at the Swarthout Funeral Home until time of the services this afternoon. Burial will be made in the West Spencer cemetery.

Mrs. Campbell was born in Denmark, Wis. She was the former Emma Arndt before her marriage December 18, to Fred Campbell. She lived on the Campbell farm the past five years and at Owen for five years prior to that.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter Mrs. Bernard (Cleo) O’Neil, Spencer; a brother, Mr. Louis Arndt, Green Bay; and two grand-children.
