Celebrate 25th Anniversary

Neighbors helped Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schmidt celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary at their new home Monday evening, June 6th.

Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Endreas and son, Clarence; Mr. and Mrs. Pete Goeler; Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Straub; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Prechel; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Picus; Mrs. Jessie Picus; Mr. and Mrs. Allan Harger; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kenyon; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bruesewitz; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jossi and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schmidt’s sons-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Grunewald and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bender.

Cards furnished the evening amusement, the following winning prizes: Mrs. Lester Kenyon, Messers Otto Prechel, Walter Jossi, Joe Endreas and Clarence Endreas. A beautiful gift of Silver was presented Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt by their friendly neighbors and their children presented them with a set of Silver. A most delicious lunch and a good old fashioned chalivari was tendered the couple and a grand evening was ended with all wishing Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt may more years of joyous anniversaries.
