The
Misses Agnes and Esther Hollenbach entertained the girls of the J.H. Club a week
ago last Saturday, together with some of the Busy Bee girls.
Miss Frieda
Williams is assisting Mrs. T.F. Lee with her household duties during the absence
of Mrs. Lee's daughter, Mrs. Erwing.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hankey autoed to
Marshfield Saturday, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Simpson.
Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Gotter and family autoed over to the town of Levis and visited Mr.
and Mrs. Max Opelt on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Ure and children Vivian
and Melvin of Neillsville autoed out and ate Thanksgiving dinner with John Ure
and family.
Ray Ure, wife and son Ralph of Chili were Thanksgiving guests
of his father, John Ure.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Riedel and sons Harold and
George of Neillsville came over Thanksgiving Day and visited at Aug. Riedel's
and Anna Hankey's.
Wm. Simpson, Ed Ure, Albert Marg, Richard Gotter, A.
Witt and R.T. Washburn, and Fred Hankey were business callers at Marshfield this
week.
Miss Emma Altenburg, Supt. Of Sunday school, and the teachers, are
training the children for a Sunday school Christmas entertainment to be given at
the town hall Saturday evening, Dec. 23rd.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Opelt,
Carl and Max Opelt Jr. were Sunday guests of the children of the John Ure
family.
Fred Breseman came home last week with a fine big buck he had
bagged during his hunting trip.
Miss Adeline Breseman of Marshfield, now
employed at Dr. Rath's home in Granton, was visiting relatives and friends in
this place Sunday.
Fred Breseman of Marshfield, in company with Mr.
Stirlie, was seen in town the last days of hunting season.
E.F. Brooks
and Mrs. R.C. Norman left Monday for Milwaukee for a few days sojourn.
Henry Helm autoed to Neillsville with his mother and sister, accompanied by Mrs.
John Altenburg, on Monday.
Kenny McInnis left for Park Falls this week
where he will work in the woods this winter. Mrs. McInnis went to Progress to
stay with her father and mother for some time.
Mrs. Elsie Grassman Minor
left for her home in Dakota the latter part of last week.
John Breseman
and Ed Ure will give a dance at the Lynn Hall Saturday night.
