Truman Davis and wife entertained 28 relatives at a
Thanksgiving dinner.
Announcements were received here from Mr. and Mrs.
Geo. Draine at St. Joseph, Mo., of the marriage of their daughter India Leighton
to Captain Louis Samson Davis, E.U.S.R. on Wednesday, Nov. 28th, 1917.
Ruby Anthony visited her aunt's and Mesdames John Breese and Chas. Haden, also
her cousin Mrs. Truman Davis.
The Mesdames Al Nonhof and Truman Davis
received a letter of thanks for the comfort kit they sent Chester Lawton through
the Red Cross.
The Rella Osgood and Al Mabie families ate Thanksgiving
dinner at Albert Davis'.
Geo. Huntley, wife and son Milton spent
Thanksgiving at Roy Lawrence's.
Mrs. John Pietenpol entertained the Davis
families to a two course dinner Tuesday evening in honor of Captain L.S. Davis
and wife, who came that day.
Mrs. Wm. Foemmel and children called on Mrs.
Gay Eilers Tuesday.
Elsie Dorst spent Wednesday night with Lucile Davis
and visited school at Granton the next day.
Lila Davis visited Haidee
Beeckler's school last Friday.
