Funeral
services for Gordon Gearing, 47, who died May 2, were held Monday at 2 p.m. from
St. John’s United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Ralph Walker officiating.
Burial was made in Mentor Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Alyce; his
mother, Mrs. Ruth Gearing of Merrillan; three daughters, Julie, Jean and Gwen
and a son, Scott, all at home; three brothers, Phil of Beaver Dam, Jim of
Hatfield and Sidney of Alma Center; and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Moulster of
Milwaukee, Mrs. Russell Schroeder of Alma Center and Mrs. Edward Sufranic of
Mesa, Ariz.
