Esther Furgeson has returned from Madison where she has spent the last three weeks recovering from an operation. Her mother returned a week before her.

Little Louise Ferguson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ferguson, underwent an operation for adenoids and tonsils at the Matheson Hospital in Neillsville. She is doing nicely.

Miss Clara Frantz announces her Christmas entertainment to be held at the schoolhouse in District No. 4, Dec. 19, Wednesday evening. Ladies please bring baskets with cups. Half of the proceeds are to be given to the Red Cross.

Ross Galbreath and Ray Chapman returned from their hunting trip last Friday.

Kurt Lamp of Oconomowoc has spent the past week with his sister Mrs. Ross Galbreath of this place.

Mr. and Mrs. John Southard havee spent the past week with relatives here, the Wm. Davis and Arthur Wilding families.

Miss Essie Bender of Richland Center spent Thanksgiving with her parents Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Bender.

Mrs. Ina Galbreath will start Saturday to her daughter's, Mrs. Isaac Higgins of Gotham, where she will spend the winter.

Mr. Chas. Wallace has an auction sale at his farm Wednesday of this week.

The Ladies Aid of Cannonville meets with the Ross Galbreath family Thursday.

Miss Mabel Johnson started Monday for Toledo, Ohio, where she will make an extended visit with an older sister, stopping off for a few days at Chicago where she will visit her sister Elizabeth.
